A Partial list of Services Provided by the Dentistry Staff:
Diagnositic Radiography - direct and indirect digital systems
Periodontics - simple procedures to advanced bone grafting and flap procedures to correct infrabony defects
Oral Surgery - simple to complicated extraction procedures; Partial or full-mouth extractions for Stomatitis cases in cats and dogs
Endodontics - to treat broken teeth with pulp exposure, discolored (non-vital) teeth (root canal therapy, retrograde root canal therapy, vital pulpotomy, apexification)
Prosthodontics - crown fabrication and placement after root canal therapy; crown placement for cage-chewers to prevent further tooth trauma
Restoration - placement of composites to repair fractured teeth with or without root canal therapy
Orthodontics - correction of various malocclusions that cause oral trauma (incline planes for based-narrow mandibular canine teeth; orthodontic appliances for lanced-canines; maxillary expansion devices for rostral crossbite)
Fracture Repair - mandibular and maxillary fracture fixation using interdental wiring and acrylics; repair of avulsed teeth; oral splinting of canine teeth to stabilize oral fractures
Oral Cancer Surgery - diagnostic oral biopsies; en-bloc resection or oral mass; rostral and total mandibulectomy; rostral maxillectomy
Advanced Imaging - Computerized Tompography (CT) - to visualize margins of oral masses prior to oral surgery
