Dr. Danielle Bayliss M.S., D.V.M.

Dr. Danielle Bayliss graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Cornell University Hospital for Animals in Ithaca, NY. Following her internship, Dr. Bayliss pursued additional training in internal medicine at Colorado State University, where she completed a 3-year residency program. During the course of her residency, Dr. Bayliss also achieved a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Clinical Sciences, with an emphasis in feline infectious disease. Her research has recently been published in the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery. She is now board-certified in internal medicine, and is a Diplomate of the Amercian College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
 
Dr. Bayliss has advance training in the fields of infectious disease, liver and gastrointestinal disease, urinary tract disease, and respiratory disease. She has a special interest in endocrinology, as well as extensive training in general and interventional endoscopy.
 
Dr. Bayliss joined Medvet Memphis in August 2008. When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, she enjoys wakeboarding, traveling, and playing with her dogs, although her favorite pastime is playing and cuddling with her brand new baby girl!
